Mrs. McClellan
McClellan is the heart behind Wee Kare Academy and is passionate about creating a place where children feel safe, loved, and encouraged to grow. With a genuine love for children and a commitment to providing quality care, she works alongside our staff and families to make Wee Kare feel like a home away from home. Her goal is simple: to create a nurturing environment where every child is known, valued, and given the opportunity to shine.
Mrs. Jess
Jess has been in childcare for 13 years. She is a caring and dependable member of the Wee Kare family who plays an important role both in our administration and in the classroom. She works closely with our teachers, children, and families to help create a positive and welcoming environment. Jess also spends time in our Infant Room, where she provides our littlest learners with the love, attention, and care they need to feel safe and secure. We’re so lucky to have her as part of our team!
Ms. Kisha (Ones)
Kisha has been in childcare for 20 years. She has been working at Wee Kare for 4 years. She is a caring and energetic teacher who loves helping our older Ones grow in confidence and independence. She creates a fun and engaging classroom where children are encouraged to explore, learn, and develop new skills through play and hands-on activities. Kisha enjoys celebrating each little milestone and watching her students grow throughout their time at Wee Kare!
Mrs. Helen (Twos)
Helen has been working in childcare for 15 years and has been at Wee Kare Academy for 5 years. She is a loving and patient teacher who enjoys helping our younger Two year olds learn, grow, and become more independent. She creates a warm and engaging classroom where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore. Helen loves celebrating each child’s progress and helping them build the skills and confidence they need for their next step!
Ms. Jessica (Threes)
Jessica has been working in childcare for 30 years. She has been apart of our Wee Kare family for 6 years. She brings a fun, positive energy to our Older Threes classroom! She loves encouraging her students to ask questions, try new things, and discover what they’re capable of. Jessica is dedicated to making each day a fun learning experience while helping her students build friendships, confidence, and important skills for their next big adventure!
Ms. Cindy
Cindy is the Director at Wee Kare Academy, she has been working at Wee Kare for 33 years and counting! Cindy is a dedicated and caring leader who helps make Wee Kare Academy a place where children, families, and staff feel welcomed and supported. She is passionate about creating a positive environment for learning and growth while ensuring each child receives the love, attention, and care they deserve. Cindy is always here to support our families and help make each day at Wee Kare a great one!
Mrs. Emily (Infants)
Emily has been working in childcare for 8 years. She has been apart of our Wee Kare family for 5 years. She is a loving and nurturing teacher who has a special heart for our littlest learners. As our Head Infant Teacher, she is dedicated to providing a safe, comforting, and engaging environment where every baby can grow and thrive. Emily takes pride in getting to know each child’s individual needs and making sure they receive plenty of love, attention, and care throughout their day at Wee Kare!
Ms. Shakevia (Ones)
Shakevia has been at Wee Kare Academy for 10 years. She is a sweet and nurturing teacher who loves caring for our youngest ones. She creates a warm and comforting classroom where our one year olds feel safe, loved, and encouraged to explore. Shakevia enjoys helping her students build confidence, learn new skills, and reach those exciting early milestones!
Ms. Star (Twos)
Star has been working in childcare for 22 years. She has been apart of the Wee Kare family for 4 years. She brings a bright and cheerful energy to our Older Two year olds classroom! She loves creating fun, memorable learning experiences that keep little minds curious and engaged. With plenty of patience, encouragement, and play, Star helps her students build confidence, practice independence, and enjoy every new adventure that comes with being two!
Ms. Mimi (VPK)
Mimi has been working in childcare for 37 years. She has been apart of our Wee Kare family for 22 years. She is a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher who loves preparing our VPK students for their next big adventure—kindergarten! She creates a fun and engaging classroom where children can build confidence, strengthen their early learning skills, and develop a love for learning. Mimi enjoys watching her students grow, discover new things, and get ready to take that exciting next step!
Mrs. Brenda
Brenda is a familiar and much-loved part of the Wee Kare family. As a former owner of Wee Kare Academy, she brings years of experience, knowledge, and a deep understanding of our school and families. Today, Brenda serves as our Co-Director and Floater, helping wherever she is needed and lending her caring support to both our teachers and children. Her dedication and history with Wee Kare make her an invaluable part of our team!
Ms. Barbara (Infants)
Barbara has been working in childcare for 44 years. She has been apart of our Wee Kare family for 35 years and counting! She is a warm and nurturing member of our Wee Kare family who loves caring for our littlest learners. She is dedicated to creating a safe, comforting, and loving environment where every baby feels secure and cared for. Barbara enjoys being part of those precious first milestones and helping our infants grow, explore, and thrive each day!
Ms. Lisa (Ones)
Lisa has been working in childcare for 30 years. She is a caring and dedicated teacher who loves helping our one year olds learn, grow, and become more independent. She creates a fun and nurturing classroom where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore. Lisa enjoys celebrating each child’s unique personality and all the exciting milestones they reach along the way!
Mrs. Clara (Threes)
Clara has been working in childcare for 40 years, she has been with Wee Kare for 8 years. She brings a caring and encouraging presence to our Younger Threes classroom. She loves helping children become more confident, independent, and excited about learning. Through play, creativity, and everyday learning moments, Clara creates a classroom where her students can grow, make friends, and have fun while learning new things each day!
Ms. Della (VPK)
Della has been working in childcare for 30 years, she has been at Wee Kare for 21 years. She is a caring and dedicated teacher who loves helping our VPK students prepare for kindergarten and all the exciting adventures ahead. She creates a welcoming classroom where children are encouraged to learn, ask questions, and become more confident in their abilities. Della takes pride in making learning fun while helping each child build the skills they need to take their next big step!
Mrs. Beverly (After School)
Beverly has been working in childcare for 40 years. She has been apart of our Wee Kare family for 33 years. She brings fun, energy, and creativity to our After School and Summer Camp programs! She loves keeping children engaged with exciting activities, games, and adventures while providing a safe and welcoming environment. Beverly enjoys making sure our older students have a place to relax, have fun, make memories, and enjoy their time at Wee Kare!
Mrs. Elisha (After School)
Elisha has been working in childcare for 20 years. She has been at Wee Kare for 3 years. She brings a fun and welcoming energy to our After School and Summer Camp programs! She loves creating an environment where children can unwind, make friends, and enjoy exciting activities after a busy school day or during their summer break. Elisha is dedicated to making every day enjoyable, engaging, and full of great memories!
Mrs. JaQuetta (Floater)
JaQuetta is our newest addition to Wee Kare's team. She has been working in childcare for 23 years. She is a caring and nurturing teacher who loves helping our little Ones learn, grow, and discover the world around them. She creates a fun and supportive classroom where children feel comfortable exploring, building independence, and developing new skills. JaQuetta enjoys celebrating each child’s personality and the many little milestones they achieve every day at Wee Kare!

DeDe has been working at Wee Kare for 4 years. She is a warm and dependable part of the Wee Kare family who is always ready to lend a helping hand wherever she is needed. As a Floater, she gets to spend time with children across our classrooms, building relationships and helping make each day run smoothly. DeDe’s flexibility, caring nature, and willingness to jump in make her a wonderful part of our team!
Rosa is Wee Kare Academy's newest addition to our staff. She has been working in childcare for 7 years. She is a kind and dependable member of the Wee Kare family who is always ready to jump in wherever she is needed. As a Floater, she enjoys spending time with children throughout the academy and supporting our teachers in creating a happy, safe, and nurturing environment. Rosa’s caring personality and willingness to help make her a wonderful part of our team!

Teresa has been working at Wee Kare for 18 years. She is a caring and dependable member of the Wee Kare family who loves getting to know children throughout our academy. As a Floater, she supports our classrooms wherever she is needed and helps create a positive, nurturing environment for both children and teachers. Her flexibility and caring heart make her a wonderful part of our Wee Kare team!
